Clare Hynes Jewellery

I’ve followed and chatted with Clare Hynes on social media for a few years now, and have always been a huge fan of her beautiful jewellery.

Bursting with bold colour, intricate detail and showcasing completely stunning creations, Clare Hynes Jewellery covers design plus social responsibility. Clare is currently working with a group of female artisans in Tabloban, a city struck by Typhoon Yolanda in 2013.

Assisting these women in creating their own sustainable livelihood, Clare runs workshops to teach them jewellery making skills. The women are in turn able to produce Clare’s designs and thus provided with a supplemental income.

A gloriously eye-catching piece within the Clare Hynes Jewellery collection, I was recently gifted a pair of Martha earrings in pink, purple and turquoise blue (£65). Featuring striking blue and pink shades, these are complemented by the marble and tassel effects.

Recently taking my new earrings on holiday to Greece, I absolutely love how mood-lifting the Martha beauties are. Usually unable to wear dangly earrings because of a dodgy low ear piercing, these do not pull at the ear in any way. Comprising a marble stud, attached to a large circle and tassels, they are so easy to wear and don’t feel heavy at all.

Ideal for brightening up an everyday top or accessorizing a bikini, the Marthas infuse any outfit combination with a cocktail of colour. I’ve basically now found a new lease of earring life and will be popping these on with PJs too, no doubt.

Based in Manila, Philippines, Clare has a love for both tropical islands and design, which shines through her stylish jewellery pieces. With necklaces, bracelets and chokers also within the Clare Hynes Jewellery range, I’ll be exploring lots more dazzling jewellery design come Christmas time.
