Beautiful lifestyle brand Woods of Windsor recently announced a chic new look for autumn 2016. The company encompasses historical inspiration, as well as the classic floral fragrances found in an English garden. Bound up in the iconic culture of properties such as Windsor Castle, their fresh packaging and patterns are a delicate and stylish nod to all of the above.
A couple of weeks ago Woods of Windsor sent me a gorgeous gift hamper, containing a beauty bundle. The box also held- fudge, a Windsor Castle fridge magnet and a family pass to Windsor Castle too. Beauties included; Pomegranate & Hibiscus Eau de Toilette (£17.99). Honeyed Pear & Amber Moisturising Hand Wash (£6.99). Blue Orchid & Water Lily Moisturising Bath & Shower Gel (£8.49), True Rose Nourishing Hand Cream (£9.99), Lily of the Valley Luxury Soap (£9.99 for 3 x 60g soaps), White Jasmine Dusting Powder (£9.99) and Bergamot & Neroli Drawer Liners (£9.99 for 5 liners).
The packaging is pretty and timeless, with sweet features and design details. I particularly like the Eau de Toilette bottle shape and top, and the Dusting Powder takes me back to my mega glamorous grandmother’s luxurious and elegant dressing table. These buys add a touch of decadence to proceedings, infused with soft scents from the great outdoors.
Roses are my absolute favourite flower, and fragrance, so True Rose was always going to be a winner for me. The soothing Lavender is a blend of patchouli, musk and chamomile; making for a calming aroma. Pomegranate & Hibiscus on the other hand, evokes citrus memories and is enveloped within a powdery sandalwood base. The Honeyed Pear & Amber pairing is both fruity and floral, while Lily of the Valley, White Jasmine and Blue Orchid & Water Lily are each delightful scents in their own right too.
Packaging is emblazoned with animal illustrations, making these a perfect gift for nature fiends too. I actually think there is something for everyone within the Woods of Windsor range, and their rebrand outlines this even further.
