Spanning the realms of beauty, wellbeing and skincare, I was sent some Aloe 247 Juice and Gel to sample. Both organic products, they contain wild-grown Aloe Ferox found in Little Karoo, South Africa.

There’s been a beauty buzz surrounding aloe benefits for a little while now and this ingredient has become  known for its soothing and restorative power. The 247 juice targets digestive issues, working to ease symptoms associated with indigestion, heartburn and, more serious stomach issues such as IBS and colitis. I don’t suffer from any of these, however I’ve been drinking 30mls of the 500ml bottle daily as suggested.

The juice also helps with skincare issues such as eczema. Priced at £8.99, this syrupy liquid contains key immune booster components. The taste isn’t of much really, and hasn’t been at all difficult to drink, but you can add the 30-50ml amount to sweeter liquids if you prefer. Rich in calcium, iron, magnesium and dietary fibre, I’m already a fan of this affordable drink which adds natural goodness to your diet.

The Aloe Gel (£9.99 per 100ml tube) is a family buy that can be used for a variety of skin ailments, from scrapes to cuts and nappy rashes, and even moonlighting as your daily moisturiser. Furthermore, it works as a natural after-sun replacement, should you be planning hot holidays or live in a warm climate.

Being a mum with tum paranoia, I’ve been using it there most and found the gel has moisturised my skin to the max. I do suffer from dehydrated skin in winter months and tend to slather on as much goodness as I can get my hands on. Including Rooibos Tea, it incorporates anti-inflammatory and anti-allergenic properties, gently soothing irritated skin.

The gel soaks into skin quickly, so you aren’t hopping about sans clothes waiting for it to dry, if you are using this product as a body moisturiser like I have been. Additional natural ingredients include Rosemary Oil, Cape Chamomile and Lemongrass Oil; each giving the skin some extra TLC and in fact, preventing the formation of blisters, should you apply the gel in hot weather.

A multi-purpose product duo, I’ve now got the Aloe 247 Gel on standby for my kids, knowing how often they come home with grazed knees… clearly a sign of lots of fun at playtime.
