Spring Beauty Favourites 2016

So it’s still freezing outside (in Northumberland anyway…) and I’m using new beauty products as a spring pick-me-up.

First up is the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser Rose & Cedrat Limited Edition. Enticing us with summer roses, I’m a hot cloth fanatic already but it’s nice to mix things up a bit via this new scent. Coming in a hefty 150ml, this beauty will take you right through the spring/summer season. A mix of fresh cedrat fragrance with soothing rose, it is definitely brightening up tired mornings for me at the moment. Also a sucker for sweet packaging, the limited edition bottle is a welcome bathroom cabinet addition.

Next are a couple of new buys from Clarins; their Multi-Active Day and Multi-Active Night moisturisers. Again about the pots, the pastel pink and blue presentation is very spring-like and glows amongst my other moisturisers. Anti-ageing, these creams have a new ingredient, which is Myrothamnus extract. This works to visibly minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Smelling absolutely delicious, it’s also become a bit of a de-stress ritual for me, slapping the moisturisers on morning and night. Relying on brilliant botanical research as always, Clarins never fail to nail it, especially in the skincare department. I always see results and your spring skin will thank you for a refresh in the form of these gorgeous beauty buys.

Finally, onto some spring perfume- and I’m seeing blossom early with a fresh Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum. The bling-tastic bottle screams summer nights and frankly a spot of hot pink is always neccessary on grey mornings. Made up of sweet pea, rose, white musk and citrus, it conjures up an image of cocktails and a night out with the girls. Pure glittery-boxed bliss.

That’s some seasonal beauty sunshine sorted, we just need the weather to catch up now…
