Perfect7 Blogger Challenge

Being a big beauty and health fanatic, I’m thrilled to have been asked to take part in the Perfect7 Blogger Challenge, a project to test out 7 different anti-ageing lifestyle changes.

A new study commissioned by Seven Seas Perfect7 investigated the theories in question. The study on visual ageing, which examined the lifestyle habits of 100 men and women, found 7 healthy habits in the younger-looking group. These were:

  1. They drank more than 2 litres of water a day
  2. They didn’t smoke
  3. They ate a lot of oily fish (2 or more portions a week)
  4. They drank less alcohol
  5. They ate less refined sugar
  6. They ate high levels of fruit and vegetables
  7. They had a positive attitude

All this in mind, 7 bloggers are all taking one of the above and putting it to the test over 7 weeks. Currently on a health crusade, I chose the option to eat more fruit and vegetables. In addition we will all take Perfect7 supplements, documenting any differences we find. Perfect7 Woman believe young is a state of mind, bringing a combination of Omega 3 oils, vitamins and minerals to your day. Supplements which support hormonal activity and boost skin, hair and nails, they are all about adding to your existing diet and exercise routine.

As someone who is prone to energy slumps throughout the day, I’ve mainly started upping my fruit and veg by using a NutriBullet. My skin always reflects how I feel, so by drinking greens and taking Perfect7 I’m hoping for an improvement in breakouts, under-eye bags and general energy mehhh-ness. I also want to find out if the changes improve my hair, which since having kids has lacked its previous thickness.

I’m quickly finding that my mood is affected by what I eat too, and negativity never fails to make me feel about 106. To me, that is what anti-ageing should be about; how you feel. I love looking for beauty solutions, but feeling youthful makes you look youthful. Fingers crossed all the goodness from the fruit and veg plus my Perfect7 intake will put a new spring in my step.

This diet change does seem like a no brainer, but will it make a difference? I’ll be reporting back my findings over the next 7 weeks, and being totally honest in the process.

  1. No’7 Perfect and perfect day and night cream also lots of water and everything in moderation, and mainly smile and be happy.

  3. I eat well. I cleanse, tone and moisturize my face, neck and chest morning and night, use a face pack once a week and cream my body after every bath:)
