Joules Men’ s Coats and Women’ s Jackets SS15

When Joules asked me and the Mr to style their SS15 men’ coats range and line of women’s jackets, we literally jumped at the chance. Taking our outfit choices to the seaside, the bright bold colours and fresh spring fabrics are offset against a somewhat blustery beach day. My Joules get-up consisted of their gorgeous Bright Pink Coast Waterproof Hooded Jacket, Harbour Striped Jersey Top in Neon Multi and Navy Snake Audrey Print Capri Trousers, plus metallic Next pointed slingbacks. I love clashing prints, and these capri pants are so easy to dress up and down, paired with heels or flats. As a school run mum, the hooded waterproof multi-tasking jacket is chic yet practical and lined with a stylish trim. I’m also a lifelong stripe fiend, so for me no beach combi is complete without Breton, and the top’s neon nature taps into this season’s colourful take on a classic trend. Chris picked out the Ink Blue Kinsley Lightweight Bomber Jacket, Skipperton Jersey T Shirt in French Navy and Pink Marl Rowley Crew Neck Sweatshirt. Teaming his togs with Gap chinos, Rayban Persol sunnies and Timberland boots, this look is the epitome of smart casual country gent. Trying to avoid being swept away to sea, the dunes lapped at our feet and I narrowly escaped falling over in the wind; a true Easter weekend of North East weather. This season’s Joules collection follows on with their continuously close attention to detail which makes the brand a consistent MM favourite. From luxe fabrics to soft stripe trim, there’s an entire range of on-trend menswear and womenswear to explore this SS15. All Joules clothing featured was gifted to us for the purpose of this outfit edit.  www.joules.com
