The Dressing Room Christmas Blogger Challenge

To commemorate our fast approaching festive season, The Dressing Room asked me to take part in a secret blogger style challenge. The task was to wear one of their stunning silk and wool Becksondergaard scarves, adding a touch of my own personality. Each blogger will then showcase how they have styled the piece with a big reveal starting this week. I can’t wait to see all Becksondergaard blogs and take inspiration from these amazing accessories in action.

The chosen SS14 scarf has star print and gold studding adornment- both details make me feel suitably sparkly without needing to go OTT on the sequins. I always struggle to find snuggly scarves big enough, yet this one offers room to wear as a blanket whilst dancing around to Mariah in pyjamas and provides toasty warmth under my coat at Newcastle train station (AKA the coldest place on earth). Plus, not unlike myself after a few glasses of Bailey’s, it shimmies along perfectly with any Christmas party outfit. Between draping (1) and tucking my new number (2), I’ve also discovered it doubles up as a stand-alone luxe layer under a velvet jacket (3). Decorating the tree has never felt so glam.

In the words of Ms Carey, beautiful Becksondergaard scarf, all I want for Christmas is…. youuuuuu.

1. PJs- Primark. 2. Coat- M&S. 3. Jacket- Topshop. Bracelet- Links of London.

*A big thank you to The Dressing Room for my gorgeous early Christmas present. To see stocking filler ideas or pick up a pre-crimbo treat visit
