Skin Saviour

Pre-party pampering is the name of the game chez Mummy Mode this week. After feeling worn down recently, my face began screaming out for a taste of tlc in the run up to Rudolph & co. 001 Skincare are a luxury botanical brand developed by combining traditional apothecary principles from Asia.  With distinctive re-usable packaging, this range epitomises beauty.

First stop was their 001′s Active Marine Power Concentrate, a serum designed to kick start skin with super power marine algae which is packed with fatty acids. As the big 30 is approaching next year I have become increasingly aware of fine wrinkles around my eyes. These have eased considerably since I began using said Power Concentrate, mainly due to an anti-oxidant within the product which encourages cell turnover, pore tightening and skin brightening. In 001′s own words, it “strengthens the skin’s natural hydro-lipid barrier and prevents the depletion of elastin and collagen”. So there you are, a wonder worker that provides style AND substance. After all my wrinkle worry, turns out those lingering laughter lines were dehydrated and just in need of a Christmas drink.

Secondly I tried the Pure Active Peel and Supreme Equilibrium Mask, magic wands for a skin saviour pick me up. Both rejuvenated me equally, offering invigoration galore. The peel in particular contains active pineapple enzymes and natural AHA acids from Muscavado Sugar, which not only smell divinely festive but also remove dead skin cells, leaving behind soft yet soothed skin.

Next citrus item on the list is a Chocolate Orange.
